Hi! I'm Twila Belk, also known as the Gotta Tell Somebody Gal. As you browse my site, you'll discover that I'm a Christian communicator. I speak, I write, I voice radio spots, and I'm a humorist. I love to laugh and to encourage laughter. But even more than that, I love to help people discover who God is and how big God is and to prove that He can be trusted. I've got lots and lots of proof of God's faithfulness and goodness, and I just gotta tell somebody!
Acts 4:20 describes me well: "For we cannot stop speaking ...." Isn't that great? That's me all the way! The verse goes on to say, " ... about what we have seen and heard." My heart is so full of joy from what I've seen and heard and experienced God do that I can't keep quiet. My heart and my mouth are connected. I gotta get it out! It's kind of like gas bubbles - if you don't get 'em out, they'll hurt ya!
My favorite thing to do is brag on God. In fact, I've coined a new phrase - "braggin' on God." So if you ever want to have a "braggin' on God" party, I'm your gal! (To do some of your own braggin' on God right now, go to my braggin' on God page.)
I also love studying God's Word and sharing what I've learned with others. As a speaker, I weave a good amount of humor with spiritual truth and biblical insight. It's my goal to take important truths and make them easy to understand. I'm all about hope - something we all need, and something that is abundantly available through Jesus Christ.
I've had the pleasure of speaking for retreats, banquets, outreach events, church services, women's conferences, Christian Women's Clubs, Women's Aglow, MOPS, schools, baby showers, bridal showers, Christmas parties, Victorian teas, mother/daughter events, writers' conferences, and even a wedding reception! (You've heard of the wedding planner and wedding singer; well, now there's Twila, the wedding speaker!)
